To Mount Stitched version on fabric: I used Needle Art Peel & Stick Mounting Board for Textile Art

The Cross Stitched and Beaded One

I used DMC 208 and DMC 3848 to make my own cording. To do this, put both colors together, have someone else hold one end and twist in the same direction until the cord wants to kink and fold over on itself. Then fold it in half and smooth, securing the ends. Cut three times as much floss as the length of hanger you want. By the way, I turned this over because it looks as cool upside down as right side up.

The Cross Stitched Version

All of these beads are from my always mysterious and large bead box. Choose ones that pull the colors out of the piece. Mine were aquamarine but lavender would be a nice accent also.

The Heart in Traditional Christmas Colors
